Patricia Forde Ahr, MA, RN brings a unique combination of experience and expertise to her work of promoting the vitality, productivity and creativity of individuals and the organizations for which they work. Prior to pursuing her studies in nursing and health care, Pat worked for several Fortune 500 companies, and later started her own successful business manufacturing products for persons with disabilities and medical conditions as well as for persons who are aging. This experience led her to pursue a career in health care. While working as a hospital-based nurse, Pat began to integrate her personal practice of meditation, kinesiology, and other wellness techniques into her clinical practice. She is a Meditation Specialist (150 hour) and Certified (500 hour) Yoga Teacher/Therapist. Pat is President of the Center for Productivity and CreativitySM where she teaches and consults in many areas of wellness, including meditation, relaxation, stressor and stress reduction, ACT Therapy, mindfulness, kinesiology and yoga therapy. She has facilitated groups and individuals in corporate and health care settings, including alcohol and drug treatment programs, facilities for homeless and mentally ill persons, many who suffer the debilitating effects of Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome.
